Matthew 24:23- 27

 

23 Then if anyone says to you, “Look! Here is the Messiah!” or “There he is!”—do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce great signs and omens, to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 Take note, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, “Look! He is in the wilderness”, do not go out. If they say, “Look! He is in the inner rooms”, do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

 

1 Tim. 2:5-6

 

5 For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself a ransom for all - this was attested at the right time..

 

1 John 5:9-12

 

9 If we receive human testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has testified to his Son.10 Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in God have made him a liar by not believing in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

 

1 John 3:23-24

 

23 And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that He has given us.

 

1 John 4:2

 

2By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming; and now it is already in the world

 

1 John 4:6

 

6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and whoever is not from God does not listen to us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

 

1 John 2:3

 

3 Now by this we may be sure that we know Him, if we obey His commandments. 4 Whoever says, ‘I have come to know Him’, but does not obey His commandments, is a liar, and in such a person the truth does not exist; 5 but whoever obeys His word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we may be sure that we are in Him: 6 whoever says, ‘I abide in Him’, ought to walk just as He walked.

 

2 John 9

 

9 Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 Do not receive into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching; 11 for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.

 

John 3:13

 

13No one has ascended into Heaven except the one who descended from Heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life. 16 ‘For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life

 

Gal. 1:7-9

 

[6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—] 7 not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are confusing you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from Heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed! 9 As we have said before, so now I repeat, if anyone proclaims to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let that one be accursed!

 

John 3:31

 

31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from Heaven is above all. 32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his testimony. 33 Whoever has accepted his testimony has certified this, that God is true. 34 He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for He gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God’s wrath.

1 Cor.8:5-7

5 Indeed, even though there may so-called gods in heaven or on earth as in fact there are many gods and many lords 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things an through whom we exist 7 It is not everyone, however, who has this knowledge.

Mark 16:16

 

16 The one who believes and is baptised will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

Acts 3:19

19 Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, 20 so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Messiah appointed for you, that is, Jesus.
